Tiger's US stock market data entitlements come in two tiers: Basic and NBBO.
Basic is the free entry-level tier available to all users, providing real-time stock quotes, best bid/ask, and trade details from a single exchange (Nasdaq).
NBBO is the upgraded tier that aggregates trading data from all 16 US exchanges, delivering the best bid and offer prices along with more comprehensive quote and trade information.
Users can upgrade from Basic to NBBO through Tiger's Market Data Store to access broader and more precise full-market data.
2. How Market Data Subscription Affects Portfolio & Profit & Loss (P&L) Indictors
To ensure that the position prices, asset values, and P&L data you see are consistent with your actual market data subscription, the platform uses the corresponding quote prices based on your current US stock market data subscription level (NBBO / Basic) when calculating and displaying relevant metrics.
Metrics affected by your market data subscription (applies only to US stocks and options strategies containing US stock legs):
Latest Price, Position Market Value, Total Securities Value, Position Proportion
Position P&L, Unrealized P&L, Daily P&L, Realized P&L
Position Delta / Gamma / Vega / Theta / Rho and corresponding cash values
Metrics NOT affected by your market data subscription:
To ensure the timeliness of account risk management, the following metrics are always calculated using the highest-level market data (NBBO), regardless of your personal subscription: Excess Liquidity, Estimated Cash Value, Maximum Buying Power, Leverage, Liquidation, and Margin-related metrics.

Q1: Where does the "Latest Price" for US stocks on the Portfolio page come from?
A: The latest price displayed on the Portfolio page is based on your current US stock market data subscription level. If you have NBBO access, the latest price comes from NBBO real-time quotes; if you have Nasdaq Basic access, the latest price comes from the Nasdaq Basic market data source.
Q2: Why does the price on the K-line chart occasionally differ from the latest price on the Portfolio page?
A: The K-line chart data and the real-time latest price on the Portfolio page do not refresh at exactly the same frequency, so brief discrepancies may occur. This is normal behavior. If the difference persists, it may be related to the current trading session or your network conditions.
Q3: How is my position P&L calculated?
A: For P&L calculation formulas, please refer to: Help Center - Positions & P&L. The latest price on display is based on your market data subscription level.
Q4: How are position prices and P&L displayed during overnight/extended-hours trading?
A: During overnight/extended-hours sessions, the latest price and P&L are calculated based on your current market data subscription level. Please note that there maybe higher price volatility during extended-hours trading.
Q5: Are my Hong Kong, A-share, or Singapore stock positions affected by my US stock market data subscription?
A: No. Your US stock market data subscription only apply to US stocks and options strategies. Market data and P&L for other markets are calculated independently based on their respective market data subscription rules.
